Identifying and exporting active e mail contacts

How do I do this?

To download your contacts, go to Settings->Import/Export. In the Buyers/Resellers panel click on "Download Contacts". A csv file will download to your computer.

Answer incomplete. This would download all contacts for years without sorting for "active." How do I identify "active" and only download them?

This method would download all contacts that have not been deleted.

Could you clarify what you mean by "active" contacts?

You use the term on the website. The meaning I give it is people who are active subscribers to my e zine.

I see what you are referring to now, thanks for clarifying for me.

Unfortunately there is not currently a way to download the active subscribers. However, if you have these contacts tagged, you can go to Settings->Import/Export and in the box titled "Leads Downloads" you can download a csv file of the tagged contacts.
