What is the best way to make a product suggestion for our customers? For the month of October, we have a free pattern available. How can we make sure that they are offered this pattern? (upsell, etc) Thanks

The easiest way to go about doing this is by "featuring" the product you'd like them to see.

You can do this by going into Settings --> Store and clicking on the Related Products tab. Once there, select the "Featured Products" check box. You can also change the 'Related Product Text' to say something different if need be!

Once this is done, hit the save button at the bottom of the screen, and go to Store --> View Products. Once there, find your designated October pattern, and click on it. On the right side of your screen, towards the bottom, there is a Yes/No option for Featured Product. Make sure this is set to "Yes". From there, hit Save on the top right hand side of your screen and you should be all set!

I would also advise changing the name of the product to "FREE OCTOBER PATTERN" or something similar, for the month's duration. Featured and related products shown on the website don't show prices, so this is the most obvious way to make it known that the product is being offered free of charge!
