Creating Coupon Code Error

Hi! I just tried to create a new coupon code HANAHOU10 and I selected "exclusive" from the combinative or exclusive options however the coupon type shows a combinative. I then set them all as expired and it will not let me recreate as the coupon code is already in use. Please advise on how I can correct this. We cannot change the coupon code as it is already printed in magazines. Thank you!

Hi Lola!
After our conversation I tried a couple of things and was able to find a way to get the coupon working! You should be able to place an order using the coupon code "hanahou10" now and receive 10% off the entire order only, instead of discounting individual products.
The only fix I wasn't able to implement is the one use per customer, although I believe you should see more sales if the coupon is allowed to be multi-use!
