How to Update Credit Remaining on Contact

Post by Aharrison3232 »

I had a client who owed money for services rendered. I got the payment and applied it to her account, but it's still showing she's negative and owes money under Account Insights. The client this pertains to is CR Conversations. Please help.

When you are ready to bill your client for all of the time that has been clocked in, follow these instructions to create what we call a "Labor Invoice":

1. Go to "Store" -> "View Orders"
2. In the top Right of this page, you will see a button labeled "Create Labor Invoices"
3. After clicking the button, you will be on the "Create Labor Invoices" Screen. The first thing to do is set the date range that is in the top right corner to the date range of the invoice that you want to create. (We recommend billing all of your client's on a regular basis like: Monthly or Weekly)
4. Once you have verified that you have the correct date range, you will see a list of all the client's that have un-billed time from clockins by you and your staff.
5. On the right, you will see an option for "Auto Create Invoice" - there are 2 choices here. If you select "Create Order for Invoices" - the system will convert all time card entries into an Invoice that CANNOT be edited. If you choose "Create Cart for Invoices" all time card entries will be created as "Shopping Carts" - which will allow you to edit, add, and delete items. Once you are done editing, you will need to click the button the "Create the Invoice" which will convert the Cart into a NON-Editable Invoice.
6. Select the clients to be invoiced.
7. Be sure to save the settings on the right, before clicking "Create Invoice"
8. This will create all of your Labor Invoices and once they are paid, your client's credit balance will be adjusted accordingly.
