Make Sign up Box Horizontal

Post by Agalassi1792 »

Hello,

I need to display a sign up box horizontally across the page, rather than vertically, so that all of the form fields and the 'submit' button are all on one line. can you help me out with this? Thanks!

Sure! Can you provide a URL with a vertical example so that we can provide you with modification code that will make it horizontal?

Hello,

I haven't seen a modified code to make a form horizontal yet. I'd like to be able to do this to my client's website by this afternoon. Let me know if you need anything else from me to get that code working.

Here is an example of what we can do. We can add an option in the leadbox editor to display the form like this sample "Inline Form."

Will this work for you?

Sure, I can try that... Is there a code I can use to implement this?

We will be adding a switch where you can toggle this feature. I will post back here when it has been added.

John,

Sure - so does that mean you are adding it universally, or just to a certain account?

This has been added and is an available option to anyone using version 4.51 of AllProWebTools.

If you head to Contacts->Sign-Up Boxes and select the box you would like to edit, you should see a panel of Settings, including the Box Width setting. Next to Box Width is a new option, Box Align, which can be set to "Vertical" or "Inline."

Go ahead and set that to "Inline" and hit Save, and your Sign-Up Box should appear in a horizontal, inline format like the above picture.

Please let me know if you have any more questions!

John,

I tried the setting 'in line' and it does not come out to be horizontal, but full width across the page:

John,

That screenshot I sent you was when I had the form being 'External site', when I changed it to be 'Your Site' it worked - but the inline doesn't seem to work for 'external site'

I also need to point out another error with this - There is no leadbox id associated with the code when you use the 'external site' code, meaning when you generate the code, the sign-up box code is not associated with a leadbox id, so when the box is filled out on a webpage, you get this error:

Please provide a valid Id number.
leadbox id not defined. {APWT1368DMK}

Could you try again with a newly generated Sign-Up Box external site code?

It should be printing the leadbox id now.

So I thought I replied to this a few days ago.

Anyway, yes, it did work with the 'external site' code. Thanks!
