Edit 'Leave A Review' form

Postby Agalassi1792 » Thu Oct 12, 2017 3:56 pm

Hello,

A client is requesting changes to the contact form 'Leave A Review'.

However, when I examine the 'Review Template', this is what I see...

<?php DisplayReviewForm($message,$prodid,$artid,$_POST); ?>

Does this mean that there is no possible way to edit the form? This is what they want:

No title for review needed.
Add at bottom: Can we follow up with you?
Delete: How do you rate this service?

Also, this goes back to a my question I had asked on this form:
viewtopic.php?f=4&t=3778

Can you give me an estimate on when you think that this feature will be available? Once it's available, then I could easily recreate this form manually, but I cannot do that right now.

Let me know, thanks.

You are correct in that the product review form can not be customized. However, in regards to the forum post you linked regarding a comment box in the Sign-Up Boxes, that feature will be available in version 4.62 which is due to be released in the next month or two.

That post also mentioned having a report to view Sign-Up Box responses, which will also be added, hopefully in version 4.62, and if not, it will be added shortly after.

Please let me know if you have anymore questions!

John,

Thank you for your reply. I definitely understand that this form cannot be edited at this time, and I will let the client know. Thank you also for giving me an idea on when those features will be ready.

Thanks!
