Changing email on account to receive forum replies

Post by Cthomas3487 »

I was in my profile user control panel and I found that under "edit account settings" I found the email under my account is the email of the owner of the APWT account I sign into the forum from, therefore I don't get notifications of forum replies to my email, it goes only to his.

Is there any way to change this without it affecting the other accounts? Because in order to change that email under my account, I have to use HIS current password (because I don't have one since I login from APWT) to change it, I don't want this to affect other accounts.

I do not see a reason that would prevent you from changing that email address to your own. Go ahead and give it a try!

We went ahead and inputted my supervisor's password who also didn't really know what his password would be but tried the one password it could possibly be, which didn't work,

I then sent a password reset due to not having a password created for this account since I login into this profile from within the APWT support link in our account,
the password was reset and created by my supervisor who then inputted it to help me sign in and it didn't recognize the username/password

So I am still unable to change the email under my profile account
