Tutorial for creating blog post

Hi! Is there a video tutorial that walks through the steps of creating a blog post. Such as paragraph formatting and adding images in to a specific location in the blog. Also how do you get the main image at the top of the blog to display? I've added it under settings "Blog Image" and saved it but no image displays.
