Shopping cart widget on site is showing incorrect quantity

After adding a product to the cart, and then visiting the checkout page, the widget show 2 items in the cart even if there is only one.

I am unable to reproduce this, can you please list out the steps you take to produce this?

login > add item to cart > view cart > click checkout. Upon getting to the checkout page the widget then shows two items in the cart. If I navigate away from the checkout page it continues to show two items.

If i add an item before logging in, and then log in to view the checkout page, the widget quantity is correct. However, if I navigate away and add another item, when I get back to the checkout page the widget shows 3 items instead of 2.

Well I can't reproduce it, but I do think I know what is causing it. Can you try to do it again please?
