Can't change the image in the invoice template

Post by Stephanieo2940 »

I'm trying to customize the header and footer my invoice template, but after I choose the file and hit "save", nothing changes. It's as if I never attempted to upload anything. I've tried only changing one of the images at a time, but it didn't help.

Any idea how to fix this?

Thanks.

Sometimes it looks like nothing changed due to browser caching, which stores certain images and files to help webpages load faster.

So my first suggestion would be to try holding the Shift key while hitting refresh, to force a hard refresh. If we're lucky, after doing this "Shift + refresh" 4 or 5 times, your new image will appear.

If this does not work, could you post the image you are trying to upload?

The hard refresh worked - thanks. :) Is there a way to get rid of the "gift image", since I don't really need or want one? Or does it just not show up if no image is chosen?

Thanks in advance.

Wonderful! I'm glad that worked!

The gift image will only show up if somebody purchases something from the site, and checks "This Order is a Gift" in their shopping cart.

If you really don't want the gift image at all, you can upload a plain white image. An easy way to do this is to open Microsoft Paint, or another image editing software, and create a new image with the correct size. In the case of the gift image, that would be 324x308. Then leave the canvas completely blank, and save your plain white image!

Now you can upload that plain white image, since it is the correct size, and can be 100% sure that gift image won't appear!
