Advanced settings: Send From edits

When creating an email, I changed 'Send Email' to Custom and 'From Name' under Advanced Settings, however when I send a test email the changes do not reflect in my inbox. Please advise.

Sending a test email will always come from your email address.

If you want to test how the email will send with a custom from address, you can setup a tag with only your email address in it. You can then schedule an email to be sent to your tag in the next hour.
