Hello,
I want to get my affiliate/referral marketing system set up, but I need some clarification regarding the steps, and the only video I've found so far is several years old, so I don't know if it's still up to date. So I have a few questions:
1. Is this video still accurate? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PQiji449b-c (If it is, I suggest making it more prominently visible in the console, perhaps by linking to it on the "Affiliates" page found under the "Contacts" drop-down menu; it took me a while to find it.)
2. I want my affiliates to be able to promote free events that lead to products. If I emailed them the link https://www.coachclientconnection.com/C ... FFILIATEID}, they forwarded the link to someone, and their recipient clicked through that link and filled out the signup form, would that person be tracked as the affiliate's referral?
3. What would happen if they got their affiliate link from a web page instead of an email? For example, let's say my affiliate signup form led them to a web page with a list of the products they can promote, the affiliate commission for each of those products, and a blurb about the products. Is there a way for them to get their custom affiliate link on that page, or do I NEED to send that info via an email to make the "&{AFFILIATEID}" turn into their actual affiliate ID?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Setting up an affiliate portal
Hello Stephanie!
We continue to dedicate resources to maintain and develop features that are most used.
The affiliate system is no longer supported due to lack of interest in this product by our users. It is still accessible so that past users can continue to pull reports. There will be no further development on this feature due to lack of interest from our users.

Re: Setting up an affiliate portal
Oh. Thanks for letting me know. Do you know off the top of your head if there are any affiliate systems that integrate well with APWT?
You might want to make a note beside the Referral Marketing webtool to show that it's no longer being supported, so people don't mistake it for a functional feature and waste time trying to figure out how to use it like I did.
It's also still listed as an available feature on these pages:
