Hi!

We've had two orders in our order queue today where customers placed an order and received an "reoccurring order discount"? We have not offered a discount for signing up for reoccurring order for at least 3 yrs maybe even longer and it was a one time special.....how are customers selecting this option? One buyer received 18% off and the other 17% off. How can we make sure this discount option is removed?

You can change this setting by clicking on "Settings" -> "Store". On this page you can click the tab called "Recurring Product Options". This will change how any future autoships are discounted.

For the current autoships orders that are in place:

From your main dashboard, on the left in the "Summary" you will see "Autoships". you will see a dollar amount in green text, by clicking this dollar amount, you will be taken to see all of the customers who are currently subscribed to autoship.

Be sure to use the scroll bar at the right of the screen and DO NOT use the scroll wheel on your mouse. If you scroll all the way to the bottom of this page, you will see the 2 customers that you have referenced.

Buyer 24023 is currently subscribed to an autoship order that renews every 90 days
Buyer 15753 is currently subscribed to an autoship order that renews every 120 days

From this screen you can change the date of the renewal, or change the frequency, or delete the recurring order.

It is important to understand that the autoship system re-orders from the ORIGINAL order at the same price and applies any discounts from the original order. If you want to change this, you will need to delete the current recurring order and create a new order and then login as buyer and click "repeat order"

Ok great I will turn off the discount option. Is it possible that the discount turned itself back on recently or an automatic upgrade turned it on? We've had many autoship subscribes without this extra discount come through in the last couple of years and then the two autoship subscribes today suddenly had the extra discount applied so we didn't understand how the customer was getting this to work. I will turn the discount feature off.

I am not aware of anything that would have turned this feature on automatically. You can check the setting over the next few weeks and if you see it change reply back to this thread so we can investigate further.
