Is it possible to create a gift certificates in the AllProWebTools system?

helps a little...so I would just create a new product and put it in the gift certificate category? But then how does the customer use it? Say one customer (currently one of our buyers) wants to gift another customer (a friend who is not in our system) a $100 gift certificate. How would the receiving customer be able to use the $100 gift certificate?

A demo has been provided where you can create gift certificates and then go make purchases as a customer so that you can personally walk through the customer experience.

In the upper right corner, click on the green "Demo Info" button for additional instructions and login information so that you can simulate making a purchase as a customer, or logging in as the website owner to make changes to inventory.

We are not trying to create gift certificates to walk though the customer shopping experience.

We are trying to understand how if Customer "A" makes a purchase for a $100 gift certificate for their friend Customer "B" how does customer "B" actually use the gift certificate as they will likely not be a current customer in our database at there time that their friend Customer "A" makes the purchase for their friend. Sure we understand in some instances Customer "B" may actually be in our database but typically most people purchase "gift certificates" for friends and family as an introduction to a new product. At least all the inquiries we've had from customers wanting to purchase gift certificates it's for a friend that not a current customer... so does the AllProWebTools gift certificate function support this?

Our shopping cart does not has the gift certificate verbiage...if a customer just types their coupon code into the coupon box and clicks apply it will work?
