Prevent Users from seeing Sales Data

I need to setup a new user on our account but do not want them to have access to the dashboard as it displays current sales stats/trends. How do we do this? I tried to create the new user but it will not allow me to unselect the dashboard access...surely there's a way to give access to an employee but restrict them from sales data. Please advise how to do this.

If you remove the "Orders" permission, they will not see the sales totals. You will need to log them out and back in for the permissions to be updated.

If your user has access to create orders, they can view all your past orders manually and can calculate how much revenue is being generated regardless of the seeing the report.

Ok so by unchecking the "orders" option it will remove the sales data from the dashboard screen?
