Setting up spf to ensure deliverabilty

  • Quote

Post

Greetings,
We will be using APWT and Google Workspace for sending EMAILS. In order to ensure email deliverability from GOOGLE we added TXT record having name: stxconsulting.co and value: v=spf1 include:_spf.google.com ~all

As per APWT https://www.allprowebtools.com/AllProWebTools-Email/ article: value of above be v=spf1 mx include:mail.allprowebtools-s1.com include:amazonses.com -all
to ensure email deliverability from APWT.

As we will be using both platforms APWT and GOOGLE WORKSPACE what should be the value of TXT record?
I have tried to write below the value to ensure deliverabilty from both platforms. Can you please take a look and confirm if it is correct or not?

value: v=spf1 mx include:mail.allprowebtools-s1.com include:amazonses.com include:_spf.google.com ~all

Once you will confirm. I will correct it to avoid SPAM problem to occur.

Your suggested SPF record looks correct. You can update your DNS record with the new SPF and then you can test it with a tester such as:

https://easydmarc.com/tools/spf-lookup
https://mxtoolbox.com/spf.aspx

or this one. Which is fully comprehensive for email deliverability checks:

Hi Dave,
Results are same. In order to ensure deliverability we are adding DKIM and DMAC record also.
We have added DKIM record from Google. Do we need to add one DKIM record for Allprowebtools? Or may be we need to add signature from allprowebtools to the existing DKIM record? Can you please guide?
Once you will verify about DKIM record, I will add DMARC also

Record Type : TXT
Host Name : _dmarc
va;ue : v=DMARC1; p=none; rua=mailto:[email protected]; pct=20; adkim=s; aspf=s

Is this correct?

I am planning to start with p=none and pct=20
later once everything went well, I will change p=quarantine and pct=100
What you suggest? Is there anything else I need to do to ensure email deliverability.

I will appreciate you help!

Hi Trannum,
I do not understand the problem that you are experiencing in regards to AllProWebTools. I am not qualified to advise you on settings regarding Google - you must refer to Google's support team and documentation for advice regarding Google.

From what I can see, everything in AllProWebTools is working correctly.

I sent this email from your AllProWebTools account:

AllProWebTools DKIM, SPF, and DMARC are all working as show here:

You are free to try changing DNS settings and continue to send test emails to verify the results are as you expect. I recommend saving a copy of the current DNS settings in a text file so you can put things back if needed.
