Any action needed to meet Google & Yahoo's authentication requirements?

  • Quote

Post

Hello,

I recently became aware of the email authentication requirements & recommendations Google and Yahoo are putting out. I've found instructions for people using other mailing systems, but am having trouble finding one for people like me who send directly from APWT.

Google provided instructions in this article: https://apps.google.com/supportwidget/a ... _context=a

How much of that do I need to do on my end, and how much is already done on APWT's end? (Obviously taking measures to minimize spam complaints is my job; I'm referring to the technology aspects.)

Thanks in advance.

Hi Stephanie!

AllProWebTools handles all of the proper technical authentication requirements. I have verified that your account is currently valid with SPF, DMARC, and DKIM.

As you stated, it is up to you to follow the recommended guidelines for sending emails, and managing spam complaints and bounces.

Thanks for confirming, Dave. That's a relief; I looked at those instructions and thought, "Great, the tech people are speaking in tongues again."
