Follow-Up Reminders don't go away

When a follow-up reminder pop-ups, and we close the "x" in the corner, it continues to pop-up over and over. Not sure if this is a bug or should be a suggestion for it to go away when closed out. Thanks!

This is intentional to force the user to either set a time in the future or to follow up with the contact.

As the follow up queen how would you suggest ensuring the contact gets handled appropriately?

LOVE that you ask :) Grace and I would both agree that having it set on a timer would rock :). If we could dismiss it for say 30 minutes?
