Click to a new screen from task, task goes away

Post by Kmyers1730 »

When I go in to task that has been assigned to me and then click away from that screen to for example, search for a client, the task is no longer visible. I can't find it in completed tasks either.

Can you check to see if it is in your "Everything Else" tasks? This is where tasks go once you have read them.

If not can you search for it?

This is still an issue... I don't have an "everything else" drop-down for tasks. The task hasn't been completed. I view the task then click away in the search bar to look for a contact and the task is not able to be seen/found anymore.

If you click on the Tasks icon on the top menu bar, and then click on See All Tasks, this will bring you to your tasks. There are 3 sections you should see here:
  1. Inbox - where unread tasks appear
  2. Recurring - where recurring tasks appear
  3. Everything Else - where tasks that you have read, but not completed are
Once you view a task from your Inbox it will move to Everything Else, so you should still be able to scroll down and find your task.

If you still can't find it, you can use the search bar to search for the task by keyword.

Here is a video about the tasking system that may be useful:

If you are still having difficulties finding your task, could you give me a specific example of a task that went missing? Or you can start a screenshare through the support center and you can show me exactly what is happening!
