invoice gift message blank

Hi! I just took a phone order and tried the new gift message option in the console. I checked the box for "this order is a gift" and then typed in the message. There is no save button so thought it would automatically save? When we print the invoice it has the gift message box but its just got the balloons images but no message? Order 33263 buyer 24725

Hi! Here's another phone order where the gift message came through blank. buyer 24312 order 33340. Is there supposed to be a save button on the console screen where we type the gift message in? There's just the little check box that we check and then type the message in and then create order but it does not seem to save the message as the invoice prints it blank

This issue has now been addressed. Please try it again and let us know how it works for you. There is no need to press a "save" button, just check the box and enter your message and process the order as usual.
