Copying Tags created THIRTY duplicates

I just went in to copy tags, as I've done before: was copying 'ParenTween Professional Networking Mixer 090622' into 'Trusted Expert Prospect.'

I also selected that it should be for contacts Created 09/03/22 - 10/03/22....

And oh, boy, did it copy! I knew immediately something was wrong because the note that came up said it had tagged 800+ contacts...(I don't have that many in my ENTIRE prospect list yet!)

It created THIRTY tags for 25+ individuals.

And in order to get this email out tonight and not send those 25 folks thirty emails, I get to de-duplicate.

Any idea if this was user error or a system glitch? If it was user error, I'd REALLY like to NOT repeat said mistake.

I'm seeing that there're only 42 contacts in the 'Trusted Expert Prospect' tag, not 800+

It looks like the system works correctly.

Yeah - I went in and deleted them all last night bc I needed to get an email out to them about an event today. :) I'll try it again and see if the same thing happens. Thanks!

I just tried it again with a list today, and it seemed to work fine. Weird!
