redeemable points

We would like a system where customers gain points based on purchases, and then could redeem these points as a discount on a future purchase. We would need:

1) A global setting for how many points are gained per dollar spent
2) A global setting for what the discount is in dollars off per point
3) A product setting in which a product is "points eligible" ie purchasing it gives points and points can be redeemed on it
4) A global setting for the maximum discount per product. This would just be a percent, like 10%.
5) A field in the frontend customer account showing "unused" points
6) an editable field in the CRM record showing amount of unused points
7) a "use points" button in the shopping cart, only shown if a customer has unused points and if the product(s) is eligible.

possibly more that i'm not thinking of.. haha..

This could be a very interesting addition to AllProWebTools. If you, or anyone else who would be interested in a system like this, think of other features or settings that would be necessary for a system like this please let us know!

One thing I am thinking of is a setting for how many points would be needed for a discount.

Oh, like a minimum point value? like once you get however-many you can use them? That's a good idea.
